Alexa Hartenstein, 5, of Brunswick, GA passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at her residence under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles. She is a life ''' long native of Brunswick, GA, where she attended kindergarten at Oglethorpe Point Elementary School.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Martha Sue Mills of Darien, GA and great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mills, Jr. of Darien, GA and Helen Eifert of Yardley, PA.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother Martha Sue Mills of Darien, GA and great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mills, Jr. of Darien, GA and Helen Eifert of Yardley, PA.

She is survived by her father and step mother Andrew and Ashley Hartenstein of Brunswick, GA, her mother and step father Katie and Danny Wilkin of St. Simons Island, GA, along with her sister Kamryn Wilkin. Her grandparents Helen and Floyd Hartenstein of Brunswick, GA, and Mack McHugh of Rutledge, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 3321 Glynn Ave. Brunswick, GA on March 29 at 2:00pm. Also a Celebration of Alexa's Life will be held at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, 371 Riverview Dr. Jekyll Island, GA on March 29 at 3:00pm.

Family requests in lieu of flowers/cards, memorial contributions be made to Memorial Health University Medical Center's Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Outpatient Clinic in the form of Shell Gas Vouchers.
