Tina Ann Brophy, 75, of Waycross, Georgia entered into rest on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Waycross, Georgia.

Mrs. Brophy loved to spend time with her family and friends and especially entertaining them with a meal prepared from her favorite recipes. She also enjoyed knitting and was a very active person. She was very thoughtful, always making every occasion special for the people she loved. She never missed sending out Birthday cards, Christmas cards, and she even sent out Easter cards. Tina Ann Brophy, 75, of Waycross, Georgia entered into rest on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Waycross, Georgia.

Mrs. Brophy loved to spend time with her family and friends and especially entertaining them with a meal prepared from her favorite recipes. She also enjoyed knitting and was a very active person. She was very thoughtful, always making every occasion special for the people she loved. She never missed sending out Birthday cards, Christmas cards, and she even sent out Easter cards. Mrs. Brophy was also a caring and giving person. She was always willing to help those in need even if it was just listening to someone speak of their troubles.
Mrs. Brophy was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Leigh Brophy; her parents, Henry Floyd and Mary A. Moore; two sisters, Lillian Babcock and Bertha Rochester; three brothers, Henry Moore Jr, William Moore, and Jack Moore. She was also preceded in death by two brother-in-law's, Mike and Tim Brophy. She is survived by her three sons, Patrick Brophy (Melissa) of Suffolk, VA, Robert Brophy (Cindy) of Port Charlotte, FL, and Paul Brophy (Sherry) of Waycross, GA; one daughter, Natalie Brophy of Blackshear, GA; six sisters, Henrietta Rice, Dorothy Powers, Mary Ellen White (Jack), Susie Cain, Sue Hanson (Jerry), and Jeanne Zimmermann (Roger); two brothers, Floyd Moore (Diane) and Don Moore (Shirley); four sister-in-law's, Dottie Sims, Nancy Koker (John), Sandy Moulton, and Melody Council. Mrs. Brophy was blessed to have seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren that survive. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 217 West Carter Avenue, Blackshear, Georgia 31516. The family will receive friends after the service.

She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Her family will have many fond memories to cherish for years to come.
